Let’s get to know each other.

A little about me. For nearly 20 years I’ve helped build and scale companies across a number of categories, business models, and audiences. I’m an operator at heart, who happens to deeply understand the art and science of markets, customers and how to build cultural conversations people want to be a part of.

My career has spanned 9 startups (and counting!) where I’ve helped stand up, grow and lead a variety of functions across Marketing, Growth, Product, Engineering, Data, Customer Service, People and Operations. I’ve been employee 6, all the way up to employee 2,800. I’ve been the first hire on a team and led a team of 280+ people. I’ve built household names, and led global companies that operated in 40+ countries, 30+ languages with over 110M monthly visitors and 100M app downloads. I’ve done B2C, B2B and D2C. I’ve built marketplaces, SaaS, and retail companies. I’ve launched new products, new markets, and new audiences. And I’ve done all of this with an insatiable appetite to try new things, learn new things and ultimately build beautiful things.

These days I do a mix of consulting, advising, and investing, and constantly dream of companies and brands I’d love to build and grow in the years to come. Below is a brief snapshot of my journey - both professionally and personally. If you’re building something and want to chat, let’s do it. Beautiful things are never built alone. That’s for damn sure.

The journey so far.

When I look back on the companies I’ve helped build there are a few pulselines that emerge.

➤ The passion I have for the customer and their story.

➤ The global and international approach I take.

➤ The passion I have for being an executive, leader and builder of remarkable teams.

➤ The operational strength I bring to an organization.

➤ The love I have for creating, sharing and growing brands people deeply love.

And on a more personal note, a few things to know about me.

I’m a global executive who has and continues to love her career, but my most important priority is my family. I’m a wife (to an absolutely brilliant and wonderful man named Steve, who keeps me laughing all day), and I am a mom (to a beautiful and happy baby girl named Kaia).

I’ve lived, worked and traveled all over the world: London, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York City, Singapore, Barcelona, Sydney, Hong Kong, and now Miami. But I was born in Vermont, and I am so very thankful for it. My small town, and sometimes hippy dippy roots have shaped me in meaningful ways. I have an incredibly supportive family, who I can’t thank enough for all they’ve done for me. And I’ve lived through some very hard things, the loss of my mom at 17, the loss of a number of dear friends over the years, the loss of two babies to miscarriages, all of these experiences having reminded me of a few very important things: life is insanely hard and often deeply unfair, but it is also the most beautiful, and magical thing.
